Hi,

I just changed my chain as it was worn (now KMC) I had it shortened by 5 links to fit the bike but the chain seems to be catching the lower jockey wheel and its really annoying! I have tried adjusting bits etc but it still cathes ie the derailleur seems to kick as the chain goes through it. I looked as the jockey wheel and it looks worn compared to the higher one. Would this be the problem?

Cheers

Jon

Pics? my guess...stiff link, does it catch all the time or every few turns of the cranks?

As above,a stiff link would do this.when the pins are pushed out and back in it can pull the link together thus making it tight.I had this on my gt and just spread the link slightly with a screwdriver. Don't think the derailleur would kick with a worn jockey wheel just think that would be noisy or effect gear selection and retention. Very Happy
