Good, Smile

We should cover this distance in around the 2 hours mark as this is a fairly level course, so we should be back at the station around the 11 O'clock mark.

Hopefully, I'd like to get this set up on a regular basis to replace our Tuesday Evening Rides as the nights are drawing in. If this was a possibility I'd be looking at roughly 2 hour rides, varying routes around the area, using Yarm Station as a starting point.

I'd like to think that every other Sunday would be a possibility Confused

And why 2 hours, well, it's enough for the next few weeks 'till we can see how fit we are as a group and as we go toward Winter and the weather starts to get worse Laughing Laughing it may be all we want to be out for.

And hopefully come Spring we'll have a fitness base that we can take advantage of and organise some truly epic rides Wink

Is this Sunday 31st not Saturday 30th?

I might come along depending on what I've got planned.

Gunner, I think you need to also amend the depart times. 0900 or 1820 hrs.

I would of joined you, but doing the double coast to coast on 31 August. to Middleton in Teesdale. But will probably do the route given tommorrow as a warm-up.

Yes, Sunday morning is very much still on, even though the cold I had last week seems to have returned with a vengeance. Thought I had got rid of it!! Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

Great ride today, cheers everybody.

Just what I needed to get a bit of "zing" back in my legs after the last few weeks, although I thought my "zing" had "zonged" when I tried to blast up that hill just before Ellerbeck.

Simon's going to be a strong rider to contend with if he maintains his current attitude, not often you meet someone these days who actually wants to go out and ride hills, good on him Wink

Pleased with the pace today as well, although it was intended to be relaxed I think we pretty much lifted it to a moderate/fast pace without anyone really suffering.

Next Sunday see's the Forum MTB Ride over Hograh Moor, so hopefully I'll post a road ride up for the following Sunday, same time, same place, but a different route Wink
