One of our newer members posed the question, "easy routes in Yorkshire?", and by chance a friend had just mailed me this link.

you fancy a cyclo-cross bike like gunner, me too but think i'll have to wait till next season as i wana get ma road bike set up for some decent winter training

Well, a few years ago I saw a Specialized Cyclo-Cross bike and it was thing of beauty and I managed to push it to the back of my mind Rolling Eyes

But the other day a friend brought a 2008 Scott catalogue in for me to look at. He had just got a new Scott roadbike for his birthday and wanted to show me it.

And yes, there were some truly fantastic 'Cross bikes in there, ideal for bashing about over the moorland tracks, so I'm undecided at the moment Exclamation

yeh the scott cross bikes are realy nice

if ya do get one y not try a cross race over the winter, in the adult race theres allsorts of riders, a hope factory team rider, decent riders, average riders, pritty bad fitness level riders. you get the picture Very Happy

i was riding one the other week and realy liked it. im getting some 1.5 tyres for ma scott to help with the boggy grass

although there was alot of mountain bikes racing on sunday at eston hill, one even won the main race compared to the cross bikes
