Heckler one of the few things i would say comes close... were they the same money, i'd say maybe the Cruz, but pound for pound - Meta... (utterly and completeley biased) get the next years model and they're putting the head angle back where it was on the 07 so a little slacker for the rough ready hurtling. I would also recommend considering Pikes up front, though it does now come with better forks, but i sold my Floats of the front right away and got some pikes for the same money, only way to go IMO. All the above said i've not ridden a Heck newer than 04, they have been relaunched... I know a few who demo'd MEtas against 5s, trances etc... i think all but one bought the Meta, and the other guy bought the Trance X-0 cos he races and it had 5lbs on the meta... If poss i'd demo though, everyone's different. _________________ Third Meta lucky!
