The cassette will come with a lock ring, it's part of the cassette.

A 25 tooth should be perfectly fine, I'd be pretty surprised if you would need anything bigger.

I miss my 92 Bear Valley!!! 😧

The Bear Valley and the Bear Valley SE in particular were very highly rated bikes at the time, with the SE being a very good competition bike in those days.

Aerosol with a good quality lacquer finish, also in aerosol form.

I wish I'd never got rid of my Marin Eldridge Grade. Sad

Marins of the late 80's to mid 90's were superb bikes in my opinion.

I am 183cm and ride 58cm frame road bikes. I would be okay riding a 56cm but just feel more comfortable with the space a 58cm offers me. No way could I go down to a 52cm or a 50cm.
