My T130 did the same when I first got it, I assumed it was because I had the seat about as low as it can go, but nipped it up probably slightly over the stated torque and been ok since.

Looks good, we went to the Pyrenees this year, planning a trip to the Alps next year and I have mentioned Whistler to the wife for the year after that and she's started planning it already!

Wow you sound lucky there. Were you injured at all? That could have been a whole lot worse but that's some story to tell in the pub!

First 3 rides out on the new bike (Scott Addict Team) have gone well, today's was 35 miles, 2100 ft climbing 18.8 mph average. The bike's an absolute weapon.

I've used the gels and the protein recovary shake, which I was dubiuos about, but found to be brilliant.
