Thanks, got chain link pliers and a good chain whip so just the locking ring tool, Ive got a work stand, so to remove cassette that is SRAM or shimano is the same? As I have 2 shimano and 2 sram.

Just spent a few hours doing red route, took us 21/2 hours to get there but it made a good change with it being a rocky course unlike Dalby's mainly forest/mud. Would definitely go again.

The actual hole in the rim isn central, as the locking ring won't sit flat against the rim , it's flat one side but 2-3 mm gap on the other!

Looking at it now it will take top or bottom pull and is conventional.
