gunner, have you seen the paint from spray.bike?
says it dries almost instantly and goes on more like a powder.
I might try that and see how it goes. looks like its easy to use.

thanks threevok, i'll keep an eye out for a set of them. im not in a rush to build it so i can wait till i see a good deal.

Hey all, im in the process of collecting parts to rebuild my 2011 GT avalanche 3.0 that i stripped the parts off to build another bike.
standard forks were suntour xcm 100mm . would 120mm be too big ...

Bought 2nd hand roof bars for £20
So now I just need 4 bike carriers.
Anyone used the cheap ones from www.roofbox.co.uk. buying 4 they are only £15.95 each.

No, both 26" front tyre is 2.3 rear 2.1 but the angle of the bike from wheel is closer to the camera

I've been thinking about it. I'm going to build the carrera first to use for commuting and cycle paths etch to get my fitness up and rebuild/upgrade the GT for trails. Not fit enough to climb just now ...
