Are you 100% mate? I'm guessing they work on the same principal of a long cage for a triple up front?

Is your chain the right length? If it's too short then it'll bring the mech up onto the cassette no matter how many other things you try.

If you need motivation and diaries, MyFitnessPal is good. Can scan food on your phone to record too.

Yeah I use that app on my iPad. Just thought the website was good for the huge amount of recipes ...

The only parts that have to match are the rear gear shifter and the rear mech, everything else can be mixed.
