Got a SLX 10 speed (3 ring) crank just wondering if i will have any problems running it with a 9 speed cassette and 9speed chain?

The original SRAM ones have metal end caps bushes the rollerboy ones are plastic and run nearly up to the teeth, Im thinking of trying a tiny spacer to see if it takes the pressure of a bit everyone e ...

Cheers they were to replace a bottom pulley that kept seizing , Fitted them this morning but as soon as the lower starts to nip up it goes tight ??? Stumped me slightly bent cage maybe?

The rims a rigida i think so it might be more cost effective to buy a low end mavic rim on a deore hub for around the £60 mark Confused

Its a new chain the old one failed spectacular so I cant measure it against that as I lost some of it.

I think I had it right first time just did not realise how much the rear mech stretches out !

A pic of a bike with the gears in the largest cogs so i can see the rear mech postion would help Wink mines seems way far forward lol
