I live in a row of houses Shocked, we have a private car park outside with allocated parking and a few visitor spaces. Across the car park is a fenced off communal rubbish area.

Right thats the scene set. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

Five days ago a bike appeared in the rubbish area, the frame looks in good condition, it has a front cable disc brake, a bit of rust on the chain and rear mech and the tyres are flat. I reckon I can get it going for a laugh.

It's one of these, X-rated .05. dirt jump style with 24 inch wheels.

Should I go over in the cover of night and help myself, the rubbish has been collected this week but they refused to take the bike. Very Happy Sad Very Happy

Get it and make a mess about bike with it.

I brought a bmx last summer for £20 , made it rideable , ran it brake less , used it as the 'sea bike'..

Me and my mates all go swimming in the summer so we took it down there and jumped it off the pontoon and slipway. Some of the funniest moments of the summer was on that bike. No lost to the solent. RIP Sea Bike Laughing Laughing

I have a snoood that I use on my bike in the winter.

I asked my 14 year old daughter to run over and get it the other day, she refused, my youngest daughter who is 7 said she would get it but I said she wouldn't be able to manage it up the steps... so I sent her over with he little camcorder to take a video clip and pics of it so I can identify it. She has expensive taste, I expect an Ipad would do it, I could go and buy a real good used bike for the price of that though. Rolling Eyes
