I can not get them to fit evenly on the rear wheel there always seems to be some offset, other tyres fit with no problem, I have tried to put just a few pound in then manipulate the tyre, I soaped the rim and the tyre and put 50lb in hoping the pressure would equalise the tyre on the rim, all with no luck, any suggestions before I pass them onto my grandson? You could try having a look through this link.

http://www.schwalbe.com/gb/montage.html

I had an unbelievable time fitting a pair of 26" Schwalbe slick tyres to my MTB a few years ago, it was impossible without the aid of a zip tie to get the tyre on, in the end, after a few months use I decided to get rid of them as I was quite worried about getting a puncture whilst out and how long it would take me to fix it, and I'm no stranger to fixing punctures.

I had one (of a pair) Schwalbe Ice Spiker pro tyre like that.

I've since replaced it with another - which seated and centered very easy

Confused

Thanks for the link Gunner I have tried all their methods of centering, with no joy, I think I will pass the tyres on and give schwalbe a miss in the future, I must admitt that I have never encountered this before

I had a set of schwable tyres that I had similar problems with, its funny because a lot of people rave about how good they are but I just dont see it?

Michelin are my go to tyre brand now.
