Starting at Gribdale Gate car park, up towards the Monument but turn off for Kildale, through Kildale and left up past Park Nab. Follow Cleveland Way then turn off down Turkey Nab (Ingleby Bank), ride through Battersby Plantation then up Ingleby Incline (serious climbing mode).
Ride to Burton Howe and follow track for Baysdale Abbey having some seriously fast downhill fun, then climb out of Baysdale and back to Gribdale as per route on outward journey. Mad tarmac descent to Kildale, and splendid climb back to Coate Moor.

Anybody who did the March Forum Ride will recognise some of this route!!

You'll enjoy it Gouldy, good mix of terrain and some "nice", demanding climbs, there's also lots of options to lead off onto other routes that you'll see as we ride.

Glad you can get along, Richard, you'll enjoy the scenery on this ride.

Are you O.K. for knowing where the START location is Wink

Yeah, I found it on multimap. On the NW corner of Coates Moor about a mile feast of Great Ayton.

Won't make this one I'm afraid, just got too much to fit into the weekend already! If I'm lucky I might manage a spin round Guis woods.......

See you in Reeth hopefully, Matt Wink

Just an addendum to Sundays route;

Instead of riding through Battersby Plantation, we will take the old railway track from the bottom of Turkey Nab to the bottom of the Incline and climb up from there Shocked Shocked

I was riding through the plantation the other day and this track is really hard work at the moment with all the water from the melted snow!!!
