Harry, Grant and I were just talking about your trip to the Alps on our ride today.

Sorry, can't do a road ride next Sunday as we have a MTB ride planned.

I will certainly be organising something for the weekend after though, we thoroughly enjoyed the ride today, as said earlier, the miles absolutely flew by Very Happy

It was the most incredible thing I've ever done. Going over a climb that's over 8000ft is unbelievable.

I amazed myself (and a few others) by doing Alpe d'Huez with two gears left . . . and I only had a 25 cassette on the back.

Got a bit of cramp on Columbiere which we did on the first day but apart from that I went like a train. Got stronger as the week went on which surprised me a bit as I thought I'd be knackered.

Best day was Friday when we did Lauteret, Galibier and Alpe d'Huez all in the same day . . . with over 100km of riding between the three of them.

Started in Switzerland, went into France, rode across the border into Italy for a couple of days and then back into France.

I feel like a proper cyclist for the first time in my life.
