Managed to get to " Ride Central " on the way home, and colected a few t-shirts from Dan ( Many thanks mate )

when we got home Callum and Katie picked 3 numbers out . So here are the lucky winners.....

1 Fox t-shirt 164

2 Fox t-shirt 114

3 Thor t-shirt 176

Many thanks to everyone who turned up and a big thanks for the guide of the day.......nice to see there is more there than fire tracks......

And a massive thanks to all for their donations to a fantastic cause

I think we maybe should make this an annual event, Phil and i spoke about this on the ride and would make it a different charity every year.

What are your thoughts?

Paul Very Happy

i might get flamed for this but whatever. i wouldnt mind doing it every year at all, but i would choose VERY carefully the charity to donate to. i know all too well that it alot of cases the money you donate doesnt reach the desired destination. clearly this is not the case with sundays charity as you well know paul.
i feel the north east air ambulance would be a good one, and i think plenty of money could be raised with months of planning

Yes, I was thinking NE Air ambulance and Zoe's Place Hospice. Alex is right about money sometimes not being used for what you might expect. Some of the bigger charity organisations use part of their budget for corporate hospitality. Would you want your £'s paying for someones wine in a flash restaurant?

my dad played many brass instruments for the salvation army and it is precisely that, that happened. big posh slap up meal. came to pay and the old man got his wallet out. "put your money away, we will pay for it out the takings"

nedless to say my dad was disgusted and walked out. but this happens all to often.

Looked like a fantastic Event, and I'm pretty sure that I can say "gutted to have missed it", would be the phrase on most people's lips viewing this Thread.

Definetely an idea to run something like this every year, with the option of a barbecue finish, and donations to a Charity, hope this will be discussed further on the site Question
