Posted elsewhere I know but it really is that good.........

Did an hour in the gym today doing a really fast paced full body workout, decided to up the pace and cut down on the rest between sets to get a slight cardio effect and help metabolise a bit of fat while I'm doing the weights.

Anyway, found this, last night;

http://www.t-nation.com/findArticle.do?article=04-046-training

And decided to give it a go after I had completed my weight routine, after all, what's four minutes, yeah!

I went with using the front barbell squat with just a very moderate weight as I wanted to see the whole thing through and not crash out halfway through.

Boy, is this a good thing, it really has you gasping for air, pushing your heart rate higher and higher, and the concentration required to stay focused and on track is awesome.

I will definetely be adding this to my training repotoire.

I have done a few searches on it today as I had never heard of it before and apparently it is a very credible form of interval trining, so get checking this out, I gaurantee it will help with your climbing ability!!!!!
