Cheers again lads Laughing

Richie, it was completely my idea to go for the orange Wink Had nowt to do with the fact that I got it cheaper than the advertised price Laughing

The advice about the rear mech has been noted Wink

Ras, I would love to put some Lyriks or 36's on but it's all down to cost. I'm trying to stick to a budget of 2-2.2k tops and to add bigger forks would blow the budget. Having said that, I will look around to see what deals are on when it comes to buying them.

Get them second hand bud. Amazing deals on forks that are practically brand new. For example... http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/8954310/

Yeah I know, would always be nice to get bigger forks as that would future proof the bike. Like I have said in the past though I'm unlikely ever to reach the limitations of the revelations so I'm 90% sold on them Smile

The 150mm of travel will be more than adequate for any trail centre riding Smile

It's up to you bud, personally I'd say that yes 150mm is fine for trail riding but when the inevitable DH bug bites 160mm forks with the wider stanchion size and therefore much higher stiffness will see you proud.

Didn't know there was any difference between the sektor and Lyrik stanchion width?

pretty sure my 140mm pikes were as wide as me mates boxxer stanchions?

Lol, what you two like Laughing

I'm building this as a purely trail centre hack, so the revelations will be fine. If I ever go down the DH route then changing the forks is always an option. Can't see this happening at this point in time though Smile

Richie, you spending my money? lol

Sektors are 32mm, Lyriks are 35 mm. Doesn't seem like a lot but it makes a big difference Smile Obviously 36's are 36mm.
