Brilliant isn't it. Very Happy

I'm wondering what to do on Friday. Ride to Whitby, camp at Scraborough, or get a B&B at Bridlington.

At the minute it's looking like riding to Whitby to watch it go through.

Saturday, it's got to be a ride to Masham. Very Happy

I can't wait. Exclamation

Boyfriend Jake is the son, of a very good road-racer of the 80s/90s
(John Tanner, sometimes team-mate of Wayne the train Randle)

One of my colleagues finished 60th in the women's race, approx 15 mins behind Lizzie Deignan. Considering Jen is semi pro, in her early 20's and in her second season racing against a former world champion I think that is very respectable.

Agreed, not to be sneezed at!!

I've not seen Liz yet to ask her, saw her arrive at School this morning, but only got a wave as she went past

Sophie, the other rider I know (okay... her dad, uncle & grandparents) finished 88th
Still, not bad going for a 17 year old
Granted she has podiumed, at National CX level, but a road-race of this length/calibre is another thing

IF it does get increased next year, to two-days(?), it'd be nice to see riders like Marianne Vos here
