Really nice bike mate. Sick upgrades. I must say that upgrading to XT drivetrain is definitely worth it. A lot better than the lower end stuff Very Happy

What are the Crank Bro grips like. Might get some of them on order instead of some Superstar ones?

That's one awesome bike, something about the Trek range I really like. Not sure I'd have the balls to carry out such extensive upgrades though

Yes mate, got my Hope Gunsmoke bash guard, XT cranks will be here tomorrow so I will get those fitted and post some more pics ASAP. The Hope top cap is now on also, now the wife has stopped funding for the time being. Sad

I really need a seat post mounted chain guide though.

I'm an excited little bunny. The wife has given in to the sulking and now agreed funding to the love of my life.

Monday is a happy shoppers day for me. I am off to get:

- XT M780 Chainset (will sell the rings and BB as I don't need them)
- XT Shadow Plus Rear Mech
- Hope High mount Seat Tube chain guide. (Going 1x10 on the Fuel)
- Two Shiney new crank arm bolts on order from abroad.
- Hope Gunsmoke seat clamp QR

Can't blooming wait. Like Christmas !!

Ah right the pesky wife ey Sad. I went from Deore to XT and couldn't believe the difference, quick precise shifting its great. How much you reckon you've pumped into it?
