Just been out to test ride the frame im ordering its a banshee spitfire absolutely loved the ride of it the medium fits me great. Ive already decided im ordering it with a cane creak db air rather than the fox ctd shock

But now I have a dilemma I went to the test ride thinking I definatly was going to order the black anodised frame as I dont like raw and ive always hated red everything but the bike I test rode was a very vivid bright red with a hint of orange and I have to say I loved the colour.......

Im stripping all the parts from my giant reign except the stem and front derailleur so I will have a black or red bike with gold highlights but I now cant decide which to go for .I have till tuesday to make my decision so whats the consensus from you guys black ano or vivid red?

Here are a couple of examples

This is the bike I test rode

An example of the black anodised build

So what do you all reckon red or black?

Nice looking bike. I think black would be more suited with gold parts that red , but whatever colour you choose , it will still looking feckin awesome Very Happy

What do you prefer Smile

As I mentioned I originally liked the black but the red looked sweet on the demo , I think I will go black though as its more stealthy and my original choice but I have till tues to decide Very Happy then I will be waiting for the boat to arrive with my new baby on Laughing

Based on the pics I'd go red simply because its the kashima coating on the forks that makes the black look so appealing. If you dont have kashima then I think the black will not look as nice.
Great choice of bike though Smile

Forks are black 150mm rockshox revelations with gold graphics so similer to the forks on the red bike .but im also getting the cane creekdb air shock rather than the kashima coated fox shock option as the cane creek is awesome Razz I do agree kashima does look good with the black though

Made my decision now im definatly going for the red it stands out more and I prefer the gloss finish of paint to the matt of anodising ive also seen a couple of beautiful builds with the red frameset. I know ive made the right choice as I couldnt sleep last night after I made the decision I was so excited lol.

Ive also made a u turn on the shock im getting the kashima ctd trail adjust now as its lighter and the cane creek is a bit to much shock for me.also the trail settings will come in handy.

Cant wait to start this build already filled my virtual chain reaction basket with some bits I need anyone have a spare voucher code? Razz

Finished bike should look similer to this except with gold lock on grips , gold pedals , gold hubs , gold graphics on the front fork and a kashima coat shock.
