Picked up a pair of these today, my local store had them for 30, some similar prices online, got them on ebay for 11.99 plus 3 postage.

I have not tried them out and about as yet but I have no doubts they will keep my hands warm, I have the reflex jacket made of the same material and I have been mega impressed with the warmth in that, had to take it off most rides (at 7am) because I was too warm in it.

Light waterproof finish and gel padding in all the right places, yes they are last years model but at the price, who cares.

Guy on ebay has loads in stock, all sizes, and sent recorded delivery so there shouldn't be any problems.

Pick some up if you need to feel your fingers when riding this winter.

I have Altura Pilot gloves, fully waterproof, 26 I think I paid about a year ago. Waterproofing seems to be wearing off however, so I have today, just bought a pair of "Stormproof" totally waterproof and windproof gloves from M&S for just 15, they seem very, very good, wore them out on my ride today and was quite satisfied Wink

Far enough, I was out on my Sirrus with its full mudgaurds, my all weather bike. Just as well as it never stopped raining, had hoped to make it to the woods for tonights nightride, but was glad to see it had been cancelled. I had put my chicken in the oven but it was bigger than I expected and so took longer to cook, I would have been riding on very full belly Embarassed Embarassed

Best time to get gloves of any type, is get to the York Cycle Show which held every June on the Knavemire racecourse.

You can camp on the Knavemire for 3 nights for a Tenner and lots of events and rides going on or just go for the day. I've been going there for the last 8 years, sometimes camping or youth hostel, probably camp next year. Although this year was a damp wet one, still we can hope for better weather next year.
