Bought another cheap muck about bike off ebay, I know it has siezed selector and brake cables and the guy said the bottom bracket was bent, I thought it would take a serious impact to bend a bottom bracket, so got it on the stand removed the chain, and spun the cranks, sure enough the gears were moving about side to side by about half an inch but the pedals and cranks looked allright. so 2 foot pry bar and prized the chainrings spot on level. Does anyone know roughly what year this bike was made for the promo?

Been round the workshop yard on it and it rides quite well, should be better with news cables, when its done it might get sold again to provide some funds to rebuild my Shogun MTB which for a full susp bike is very light.
