As per title, Muc Off C5 Ceramic Dry Lube :
Just bought some of this, and will be trying it for the first time.

Anyone use, or tried this before ?

Seems expensive, but I don't mind paying for something if it works well.

It's reasonably gloopy, goes on easily and sticks to the chain, and is alarmingly luminous green lol. After it dried though, it was clear/invisible thank fk.
Will be trying it soon, at Dalby, see if it lasts the 26 miles or so.

Opinions from former users welcome Smile

Had a quick test ride today, and the bike was super-silent as I set off (which, it should be really, as the chain & chainring is almost brand new).
After about 3 or 4 miles of bone dry singletrack, I did start to hear some very slight chain noise.
It was certainly not 'noisy' but it was not the same as when I left the house.
Maybe I'm expecting too much, but so far the jury is out on this product, and a longer test is needed to really give a proper opinion.
I re-applied a thin layer when I got back, just to make sure I had enough lube on, and will try a decent trail centre run another day.

Personally I love the Muc Off and having a silent chain so clean once a week - i.e. every 150 miles. That is probably excessive and I could probabaly do 500+ miles with no issues. However, this may mean changing the chain slighlty more regularly due to additional wear.
