Quick blast on the OCR today, had planned a work commute on my hybrid and doing a long trip home via Ayton, Stokesley etc., but still messing on with the bedroom.

Anyway, too nice not to pop out wasn't it?

1 hour 02 minutes
17.6 mile.
16.8 mph.

Felt a lot faster to be honest, I was surprised my average was below 17.0 mph Shocked

Lovely, moderately hilly blast round the Newby, Seamer, Tanton area, bit of a chill in the wind though. Wink

Ruddy Norah, these "Trig" points come in handy. Laughing

Just 2 photo's from Tuesdays ride on the way to Foxton Bridge.
It was a shame to get off the bike to be honest, as I was really "motoring". Wink

No need, Marty, these gaurds are just to keep my ridiculously expensive, designer roadwear gear clean Wink

Parked the car just outside Durham and headed up the Durham Dales for a change. Stopped for a pie in Stanhope. Possibly the best steak pie I've ever had in my life. Then headed back. 78km and loads and loads of hills. That's 300km this week so far.

I'll get more distance in next week as I intend to go back for more pies.

And loads of hills too Very Happy Very Happy

I'm green with ruddy envy I must admit.

Gunner, I'm off to the Alps again in July and I'm going with some rowing mates who happen to be a bit tasty on the bikes. I need to be right on it if I'm going to live with them.

The weather has been so brilliant this week it would be silly not to go out and ride. Should have well over 400km in by the end of the week.

Shame I have to work on Sunday.

weather wasnt as good today, we had a free day at school so i road to the bike shop, easy spinning in prep for sunday...

its only 3 miles there , and 3 back, but it was a bloody pain on the way back as i had a new tyre round my shoulder which kept slipping... Evil or Very Mad

shame i havnt been able to get out for a long ride in the decent weather, but better to do the sensible thing me thinks...

at my dads all next week (barnard castle, got work experience but ive been aloud to miss it as ive all ready worked there for ages) so im going to have a long ride round there... but again, racing in scotland on the sunday and pre riding the course on the saturday so will have to take the end of the week easy...

"Stopped for a pie in Stanhope" is a bit of a clue.

Yes, it's not hard to imagine the embarrasment you'd feel at being dropped by them, or not being able to do your turn on the front.

It would be damned bad form. Good on you for making sure your up for the game Wink

Another day. Another bike ride. Gave The Prince the first outing of the year. Lovely bike.
DISTANCE: 62.78km
AVE SPEED: 28.3kph
CLIMBING: 499m
CALORIES: 1484 cals.
AVERAGE HR:123 bpm

That's five days on the trot. And guess what? Yep, I'm out tomorrow over the moors. Starting from Swainby with a few mates. My legs are shot and they are going to be a lot worse by the end of tomorrow.

So far this week I think it's 370km+
